The goldfish remembers is a symposium that is held in conjunction with the exhibition “RETURNS”, curated by David Teh, as part of the Gwangju Biennale 2018 – Imagined Borders.

In this special session, art researchers and curators present case studies of significant shows, from Gwangju and elsewhere, now on the verge of becoming history. A panel featuring Sung Wan-kyung, Yongsoon Min and Grace Samboh, moderated by Lucy Steeds (editor of Afterall’s ‘Exhibition Histories’ series) and followed by Q&A.
